I shall ruminate on the view from this end of life. It is a vast panorama of places, people and events that have coloured my full rich life, and hopefully, there is still time for a few more lovely surprises.

Latest picture of the old fogies letting it all hang out.
Beautiful. I love this. People told me at my husbands funeral that all he ever talked about was me and how wonderful I was. People always said we looked so happy together and "honeymooners". What more could I have asked for?
Wow! I can definitely see what you saw in each other! You were such beautiful young people!!! With age, looks may fade a little, but one thing is certain, you love hasn't faded! You truly are an inspiration!
What a lovely journey, thank you for sharing it - and in so many ways - with us. You two are such an inspiration! If only we could stop time, a little bit at least, every now and then.
Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog. I truly appreciate it.
I meant to comment on what beautiful daughters you have, too! But then how could they be anything but beautiful with the two of you for parents? I hope they appreciate how fortunate they are.
I know they're just pictures, but they made me tear up a bit. Most happily married couples that have been together for a long time have that affect on me, I suppose. :)
How lovely to have such a happy marriage! Some of us are not so fortunate but I think that being fortunate by such a marriage is what life's all about.
My parents just had their 51st anniversary last week, they also had three stops along the way and now have a labordoodle named Honey. Congratulations on your long and happy marriage...being able to witness that success is a blessing to all!
I especially love this post. We have been married more than 51 years and inside we feel just as young as ever. Not sure where the aches and pains fit in.
