I shall ruminate on the view from this end of life. It is a vast panorama of places, people and events that have coloured my full rich life, and hopefully, there is still time for a few more lovely surprises.

AN 'AMUSE BOUCHE'.
BECAUSE I CAN. BECAUSE HE IS THE CUTEST THING, BECAUSE HE KNOWS I'M NOT QUITE AS I WAS AND HE LOVES ME MORE THAN EVER; EXCEPT, THAT IS WHEN ANY OF THE CHILDREN COME A CALLING, THAT 'S WHEN HIS DEVOTION TO ME TAKES A HIKE.
HE WILL BE NINE IN OCTOBER MAKING HIM IN HIS MID-SIXTIES IN DOGGY YEARS, FINGERS CROSSED HE IS IN GOOD HEALTH..
HOPE YOU ENJOYED THIS LITTLE ASIDE. I'M SURE I SHALL BE BACK IN THE OLD GROOVE SOON. DID I TELL YOU I'M HAVING RADIOTHERAPY SOON? THERE, DIDN'T TAKE LONG DID IT?

Cute does not do him justice........and you WILL be back in the old groove soon x
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have such a devoted companion. Nice to hear from you.
ReplyDeleteHe is the most adorable 60 year old I have ever laid my eyes on....mayb with the exception of my hubby....but, then again, maybe not. lol
ReplyDeleteWhy more radiotherapy? Are they making sure they got it all, or just trying to make sure the thing doesn't come back? I pray that you are growing stronger everyday and that soon you will be feeling back to your old self. And how about JP?
It is a preventative measure I am told...heavy a week of daily sessions that's all.
DeleteJP is fine...he acts as if there is nothing wrong with him.
Terrier overdose, there. Quizzical little face is perfect.
ReplyDeletePets are important for recovery and optimism. Glad you have such a cutie! Good luck on your future health!
ReplyDeleteHe is SO adorable. May you two have many, many more years together. Hugs and head pats to you and Milou, respectively
ReplyDeleteYour dog and my dog (Sammy) could pass for first cousins, for sure. Except that Sammy has an unknown quantity of other breeds in him but still, the hair tufts over the eyes, those big round dark, dark brown to black eyes and all the curls up and down his back too and poof, you've got the cutest dog ever, don't 'cha? Sam, unfortunately, has some not-so-nice habits that appear every now and again though and which don't exactly endear him to my daughter. He's housebroken but every now and again -probably a fast attack of some kind on his part -he breaks bad and whizzes in places one wouldn't even think a dog would consider! Two nights ago, he got up on the dining room table to do that and last night, sometime or other, he managed to wee on a cover on the loveseat, which also had seeped a bit into one of the cushions so I had to take the cushion covers off then this a.m. so my daughter (Mandy) can toss them in the washer when she gets home from work. Still trying though to figure out what on earth possessed him to do his business (thankfully, only wet) on the dining room table though? He used to go in the bathroom and whiz on the bathmat right in front of the tub and that really ticked Mandy off greatly too! I said to excuse that because after all, he was close -just no cigar!
ReplyDeleteHope you're starting to perk up a bit now. I know, all too well -the perking up part does take its sweet old time about arriving but it will come -eventually! Peace.
what a sweet face ..
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely face, Moannie. By the way, is that how your hair is growing back?
ReplyDelete(Just kidding, Darling, just kidding.)
What a little cutie and such an appealing face! No.... I don't mean you, Moannie! Just the little doggie!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the radiotherapy. Glad that you feel it will soon be back to business.
